A little about us and this blog…
I could say that Goose Landing was some idyllic spot where we spent our childhood vacations.
This would be an utter lie.
Perhaps I might say that like geese we migrated far from home, only to return together. This might be a bit closer to the truth.
Really though, we’d spent a couple days trying to find the perfect domain name for our blog, something which felt like it represented all of us, leaving none of us out. We’d whittled the list down to some names that I think we all felt (to varying degrees) were alright, but not perfect.
Then E sent us a photo she’d taken of the geese in her neighbors’ yard, captioning it “Goose Landing”. And weirdly, we knew this was the blog name.
There are five of us, scattered to varying degrees from where we grew up. We’re silly, can be loud and I think we agree bread is tasty too (though I’d like to think we are less prone to biting peoples’ fingers). So, Goose Landing it is. We hope you enjoy our silly blog posts.
