First Landing: Iowa

Zoe: We have finally landed on the Earth-That-Was! According to our navigation systems, we are in the area that was called Iowa. Jayne fell into an area full of thick green slime but seems okay. He also decided to climb a tree to get a better look at the landscape. Something about the high carbon dioxide content in the area made all the plants grow massive, but they are overall quite recognizable.

Jayne: Climbing that tree, I found signs of civilization! There were no people left, but I did find some beer. Zoe likes to pretend that she’s all business and no play, but she had to beat me up that ledge to find more buildings. I think they worshipped a black and yellow giant bird named Hawkeye because we’ve seen it everywhere.

Zoe: Since there is no sign of surviving population in this area, we’re going to try heading about 15 degrees east of here. Till next time folks!
